• Badania nad percepcją wizualną obrazów cyfrowych poddanych kompresji stratnej metodami falkowymi,
• Poprawa jakości skanowanych dokumentów bibliotecznych, przeznaczonych do publikacji w mediach elektronicznych,
• Przetwarzanie i analiza obrazów biologicznych i medycznych, (obrazy elektroforezy jednokomórkowej, mikromacierzy cDNA oraz mammografii cyfrowej),
• Badania nad metodami interakcji człowiek-komputer poprzez śledzenie twarzy
i ruchów oczu,
• Detekcja i korekcja efektu „czerwonych oczu” w amatorskiej fotografii cyfrowej,
